From humble beginnings as a student nurse to blossoming into a flourishing baking enterprise, we've stayed true to our commitment to crafting delicious treats that delight the senses and warm the heart. With each cake we bake, whether it's a decadent celebration buttercream masterpiece or an elegant wedding creation, we pour our love, dedication, and attention to detail into every bite. Our Story
From Student Nurse to Baking Entrepreneur: A Delicious Journey
My story begins with a twist of fate during the tumultuous times of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a student nurse, I found myself facing unexpected challenges when the world shifted beneath our feet. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for baking, seeking solace and joy in the kitchen amidst uncertainty.
With each cake I lovingly crafted, my skills flourished, and soon my creations became a family favourite. As I juggled the demands of motherhood and home education, I realized that my baking held the key to a future where I could be both present for my children and pursue my professional aspirations.
Taking a leap of faith, I transformed my passion into a business, establishing a limited company to share my delectable treats with the world. However, my journey took a detour as I embarked on a new chapter in Bath, where I honed my expertise in health and safety.
But destiny had other plans, drawing me back to Warwickshire, where I reignited the flame of my baking enterprise, this time as a sole trader. As word spread of my mouth-watering celebration buttercream cakes and elegant wedding creations, my business flourished, becoming a cherished part of the community in Warwickshire.
Yet, life's twists and turns continued, leading me to make the ultimate decision to follow my heart and be near my daughter and her growing family up north. It was here, in the picturesque surroundings of South Staffordshire, that I found my true home in Penkridge, continuing to bake with love and dedication for the community that welcomed me with open arms.
Today, my journey comes full circle as I not only craft exquisite wedding cakes and cater to corporate lunch meetings with my tantalizing creations but also serve as a testament to the resilience of pursuing one's dreams, no matter where life's path may lead. Great top quality cakes
Great customer service from start to finish, my favourite cake of the many I have had over the last 12 months was the chocolate cake, it was excellent! It was soft, moist and very tasty. I would recommend to anyone looking to indulge in a cake or two.

My family and I tried the cheese cake tray and it was incredible. Perfectly creamy and crunchy all at the same time! Beautifully presented and a very generous portion. My son said it was the best he'd ever tasted and I have to agree!

The chocolate cake was amazing, I have never seen such a light and fluffy chocolate sponge cake, beautiful chocolate buttercream filling and lots of it. The children both said how much they liked it- Little son thinks we should always have cake from you now.

De-li-cious. Love your carrot cake and gluten free chocolate cup cakes. So good :) So good in fact that the chocolate brownies were being physically fought over and ended up having to be split in half :p Thankyou for the time you gave me re- discussing food allergies and for putting to bed any concerns I may have had. A taste of heaven is the perfect name for Lucy's business, as her cakes are simply to die for! They look absolutely irresistible, smell delicious and taste devine! They really do melt in the mouth are are, by far, simply the best! Lucy even delivered them free of charge and she was so lovely too! They came in a nice box and you can tell that Lucy takes a real pride in her work. You will not be disappointed!
